...in November, as the PMI registered 59.3 %, an increase of 1.6 percentage points from the October reading of 57.7 %. This indicates growth in manufacturing for the 27th consecutive month, led by strong new orders, production output and continued slowing supplier delivery performance. A reading above 50 % indicates that the manufacturing economy is generally expanding; below 50 % indicates that it is generally contracting.
Some details:
As mentioned before, the November PMI registered 59.3 %. The New Orders Index registered 62.1 %, an increase of 4.7 percentage points from the October reading of 57.4 %. The Employment Index registered 58.4 %, an increase of 1.6 percentage points from the October reading of 56.8 %.
